What is Welcome to Young Womanhood?

It is a tailored experience in the form of a mini day retreat that is designed to offer a safe space for young womb holders (if you were born with a womb-you are a womb holder). We will walk through the importance of connecting with their sacred femininity, explain the importance of the menstrual flow, how to resolve menstrual cramps, and what creating a relationship with your WOMB consists of. You will receive waist adornment, a gentle yoni steam with organic herbs, and have meaningful discussions around safe relationships. Age – 12-17

Who is this for?

This is for young women (if you were born with a womb, and of menstruation age up to 17 years old, IT’S FOR YOU!), Those experiencing heavy bleeding, PMS, menstrual cramps, etc. If there is a question and/or lack of understanding for healthy and safe relationships (self, parents, friends, teachers, etc.), interested in waist bead adornment, and for those who are curious about how yoni steaming can help with menstruation.

What is Yoni Steaming?

Yoni Steaming is a very gentle process that does not involve any sort of high- pressure application of hot water. “Vaginal Steam” many prefer to call this gentle process Yoni Steaming because it is more than simply the vagina and external organs that benefit from the steam. There are many benefits such as menstrual cramps, relaxation, excessive flow, PMS, and uterine health can be helped with a Yoni Steam. The warmth and moisture increase circulation to the vulva, causing it to open up and expose the inner labial mucous membranes. Yoni steaming happens with you sitting on a special designed chair with a missing center to allow for the mild steam flow, with you sitting over in a silk long gown.

What can YOU expect From Dr. Tracie Hall?

Dr. Tracie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Doctor of Behavioral Health. She has been providing counseling/therapy services for over 15-years. Dr. Tracie specializes in building self-esteem, decreasing anxiety, increasing mood, decreasing depressive symptoms, life changes and processing trauma. Dr. Tracie’s goal is to help each individual move towards becoming their best version of your best self.

Come for an interactive experience and discussion about healthy relationships. We all have relationships with parents, family, friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, teachers etc. How are you maneuvering these relationships in a healthy way? How do you know if they are healthy and/or safe?

You ask what is waist adornment?

Waist beads are culturally rooted for body adornment, tracking body changes as well as socioeconomic status, and rites of passage such as womanhood. Each color has a meaning, and each stone has healing properties.

As each one of you young ladies get tied on your journey, know that each strand was created to enhance positive energy, boost self-confidence and to embrace how beautiful you are inside and out.

Each color has a unique meaning and will select your waist bead during the event.

Bead Meaning-

Black= protection, power, elegance, sophisticated, formality, strength, prestige, authority

Red= action, strength, energy, passion, courage, desire, confidence

Orange= optimism, enthusiasm, spontaneity, creativity, warmth
